Stéphane Auray is Full professor at the National School of Statistics and Information Analysis (Ensai) where he has been the head of the Economic department during 8 years. He is also a part time professor at Rennes School of Business. He is a member of the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST, Rennes). He obtained his doctorate in economics from the University of Toulouse 1 in 2003. He teaches macroeconomics and monetary policy at Ensai, Rennes. Previously, he was a visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal and at Concordia University, then an associate professor at Lille 3. Stéphane Auray specializes in the analysis of macroeconomic policies, monetary and fiscal policies and in economics of work.
Currently, his research activity is in the area of labor market insurance, heterogeneous agent models, trade wars, and international aspects of monetary and fiscal policy. I have ongoing research projects with quite a few co-authors in different parts of the world. His work has been published in renowned international journals such as: Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Economic Journal, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Rand Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Dynamics...
