Ronan Lyons is an Associate Professor in Economics at Trinity College Dublin, where he is also Director of Trinity Research in Social Sciences. His research focuses on housing markets, urban economics and economic history and has been published in a range of leading journals, including the Journal of Urban Economics, the European Review of Economic History, Real Estate Economics & Energy Economics. He is Associate Director and Data Lead at the Centre for Economics, Politics and History, a joint research hub between Trinity and Queen’s University Belfast, funded by the North-South Research Programme of the Government of Ireland and also a consultant to the IMF on residential property prices. He holds a DPhil in Economics from Balliol College, Oxford.
