Riccardo Cristadoro earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Pavia (Italy) in 1996 and joined the Research Department of Banca d'Italia in the same year. Between 2012 and 2017 he served as head of the Emerging Markets and World Trade Division. His research interests include applied econometrics, the digital economy and international economics.
