Mauricio Mesquita Moreira

Mauricio Mesquita Moreira is a Senior Consultant at the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He received a PhD in Economics from the University College London. He previously held the Sector Economic Advisor position at the IDB. Prior to joining the Bank, he held a managerial position at the Research Department of the Development Bank of Brazil (BNDES), was an advisor at the Ministry of Finance, Brazil and taught at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His recent research has largely focused on trade, integration and industrial policies and more recently on the interaction between trade and climate policies.
