Marcello Messori holds the Poste Italiane chair on European Economy and European Economic Governance at the Department of Economics and Finance, LUISS University. He has been Visiting Professor in various Universities (Sciences-Po, Paris; Paris-X Nanterre; LATAPSES, Université de Nice) and Visiting Scholar – among others – at MIT (Cambridge Ma.) and Stanford University. He published more than two hundred works in Italian, English, French, and German. In the recent years, his field of research has focused on the European economic problems, and mainly on the EA financial markets and monetary policy. He has also been involved in various institutional activities. Currently he is president of Allianz Bank.
