Lorenzo Caliendo

Lorenzo Caliendo is Won Park Hahn Professor of Global Affairs and Management and Professor of Economics at Yale University. He performs research on the determinants of the trade and welfare effects of commercial and migration policy, and how foreign trade competition affects the organizational and wage structure of firms. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a Research Staff of the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics, a Faculty affiliated to the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, a Masters in Economics from Auckland University. He was previously a Research Fellow at the IES-Princeton University and Lecturer at the University of Chicago. He received two Uruguay National Prizes in Economics.
