Jorge Abad is a research economist at the Bank of Spain. He obtained his PhD at CEMFI, Madrid. He has previously worked for the European Central Bank and the Bank of England. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance, with a special interest in banking regulation, monetary policy and macroprudental policies.
