James Cloyne is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining UC Davis he was a Senior Research Economist at the Bank of England.
He is managing editor of Fiscal Studies, a NBER Faculty Research Fellow, Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, Research Fellow at the CEPR and an affiliate member of the CESifo institute. His research primarily focuses on the macroeconomic effects of monetary and fiscal policy. He received his PhD from University College London.
