
Beatrice Weder di Mauro currently serves as the President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and is the André Hoffmann Chair of Economics, Climate, and Nature Finance at the Geneva Graduate Institute. She is also a Distinguished Fellow at INSEAD. Her academic journey includes her role as a Research Professor at INSEAD Singapore and a Professorship at the Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germany. From 2004 to 2012, Beatrice was a member of the German Council of Economic Experts, where she contributed significantly to shaping economic policy in Germany. Her influence extends beyond academia into the corporate world: she has served as an independent director on the boards of several leading global companies and is currently on the boards of Unigestion and Bosch. In addition to her corporate roles, Beatrice is frequently called upon to provide expert advice to governments, international organizations, and central banks. Her areas of research include macroeconomics, financial crises, and the emerging fields of climate and nature finance.
